For several people, the land in America is the beautiful place in this world. But as a little adult I have already left the country to find many opportunity sights beyond the land of the United States. To me, the largest beautiful place I have ever been was the island of Jamaica. It is simple for me to find harmony and beauty on this island.
The first thing that hit me like a massage of aroma as I stepped off the aircraft was the sweet wet air of this tropical island. The fruit, flowers, and over all ordinary environment is enough to make me never want to leave. I gather all of this, and I haven’t even left the airport yet.

The Asian Paradise Flycatcher, also known as the universal Paradise Flycatcher, is a medium-sized passerine bird. The adult male Asian Paradise Flycatcher is about 20 cm long, but the long tail decorations double this. It has a black crested head, chestnut upperparts and pale grey under parts.

The female of all races resembles the stale joke male, but has a grey throat, smaller crest and lacks the tail streamers.

The Asian Paradise Flycatcher is a noisy bird with a sharp sweet call. It has short legs and sits very upright whilst perched significantly, like a shrike. It is insectivorous, often hunting by fly catching.

Bluish-grey is the result of light scattering within the cloud. In the visible spectrum, blue and green are at the short end of light's visible wavelengths, while red and yellow are at the long end. The short rays are more simply scattered by water droplets, and the long rays are more likely to be absorbed. The bluish color is evidence that such scattering is being produced by rain-sized droplets in the cloud.A more ominous color is the one seen commonly by severe weather observers. Throughout history there have been many people that I have admired. Thomas Edison, Ben Franklin, Abraham Lincoln, Lenny Bruce, George Washington, and Babe Ruth, to name a few of my favorite people. One of, if not the best, ballplayer of his or any generation. His accomplishments surpassed entire team’s totals. More about that later.
I admired his flair. I loved his grace on the field. He glided through the game. I loved seeing the old films of Babe waving at the pitcher as he circled the bases on his way home after belting one of his home runs.
In some years he hit more home runs than entire teams. In 1920 “The Babe” hit 54 home runs. The St Louis Browns hit 50 home runs as the runner up to “The Babe” for most home runs that year. In 1927 it was not so different. The Philadelphia Athletics hit 56 homers to rank second to Babe Ruth’s 60 home runs. The Babe hit more home runs than entire teams hit in those two years.
There have been players in their sport that have so surpassed their peers they become legend. They are awe. For me “The Babe” fits right in with Gretzky and Michael Jordan in attaining the highest level of performance.
I loved the Babe Ruth story with William Bendix. As an eight year old that loved the Yankees and especially Babe Ruth, this movie was the best. Even the part where he brings the hurt dog to the hospital and misses a day game. Babe Ruth could do no wrong in this classic. The movie has not passed the test of time as I have gotten older. Where possible the vehicle should be on a solid, flat surface.
If you are at the side of a road use reflective warning triangles some distance behind your vehicle.
Use wood or stones/brick to chock the wheel that's diagonally opposite the one you are changing.
Using a wheel brace, slacken each bolt on the wheel.
Fit the jack onto the nearest ‘jacking' point (check manual)
Slacken the wheel nuts.
Jack the car up until the wheel you are changing is no longer touching the ground.
Remove the wheel nuts and then the wheel.
Replace with spare wheel, and follow the procedure in reverse, ensuring all wheel nuts are securely tightened.
On no account should you be underneath the vehicle when it is on a jack!

My son has decided to take up fishing with his dad. He has never shown an interest in fishing before so I was quite surprised when he wanted to go out with has dad to the local canal. He hasn’t got any of his own fishing tackle but he has decided he wants what his dad has got.

My friend has invited me to fish on his own personal fishing lake. He owns a fishery local, which is near to me; he stocks carp, tench & bream.
I went for the day so I didn’t need to take my Chub bivvy. Instead I took my Preston match brolly just in case it rained. The lake was of a fair size so I took my handy Fox Elite Barrow, as I struggle carrying all of my fishing tackle. I decided to leave the rods and reels at home and took my Fox Competition Match seat box and Shimano Technium 1250 Competition fishing pole, using size 14 elastic straight through to 5lb fishing line. The fishing bait I used was paste, pellet, corn and maggot. I had an excellent days fishing, I did catch some good size carp up to 14lb and some tench to 5lb mainly using maggots.

I was talking to my mate Clive about upgrading my Fox Micron SX Bite alarms to a set of three Delkim TXI’s, which is what Clive is using and he rates them highly. I have also heard about the new Delkim TXI Plus which comes in all the colours, red, green, blue, yellow, white and purple. I have called Delkim for a bit more information on these fishing bite alarms. I was given all the needed information about the bite alarms and the Delkim Pluses were also mentioned, a slightly cheaper alternative.
I am currently using Century NG 12ft 3.5tc fishing rods, so I really want a good set of bite alarms to go with these nice rods. I decided to go with the Delkim TXI Pluses. As it is going to be a nice weekend I’m off to my local fishery for 2 nights of Carp catching action. My last catch from my local fishery was a mirror carp of 28.4lb and a common carp of 25.10lb, my new common PB-UK. Early development included industry-specific solutions and proprietary protocols, but at the end of the 1990s these were replaced by standards, primarily the various versions of IEEE 802.11 (Wi-Fi) (see separate articles) and HomeRF (2 Mbit/s, intended for home use, unknown in the UK). An alternative ATM-like 5 GHz standardized technology, HIPERLAN, has so far not succeeded in the market, and with the release of the faster 54 Mbit/s 802.11a (5 GHz) and 802.11g (2.4 GHz) standards, almost certainly never will.
The lack of default security of Wireless connections is fast becoming an issue, especially in the UK, where many Broadband (ADSL) connections are now offered together with a Wireless Basestation/ADSL Modem/firewall/Router access point. Further, many laptop PCs now have Wireless Networking built in (cf. Intel 'Centrino' campaign) thus eliminating the need for an additional plug-in (PCMCIA) card. This might even be enabled, by default, without the owner ever realising it, thus 'broadcasting' the laptop's accessibility to any computer nearby.
The basic security used for a WLAN was originally Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP), but this was shown to provide minimal security due to serious weaknesses. The alternate Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) security protocol was later created to address these problems. Since then software solutions such as SSL, SSH, and various types of software encryption have become the prefered methods of securing wireless information transmission.
Modern operating systems such as Linux, Mac OS, or Microsoft Windows XP as the 'standard' in home PCs makes it very easy to setup a PC as a Wireless LAN 'basestation' and using Internet Connection Sharing allows all the PCs in the home to access the Internet via the 'base' PC. However, lack of expertise in setting up such systems often means that someone nearby, such as a next-door neighbor, may also share the internet connection. This is typically without the wireless network owner's knowledge; it may even be without the knowledge of the user (the neighbor) if his computer automatically selects a nearby wireless network. Nowadays it has become etiquette to leave wireless access points open for others to use just as one expects to find open access points while on the road. This freely sharing of bandwith is the basis of free wireless community networks which are often considered the future of the internet.
The frequency which 802.11b operates at is 2.4GHz, which can lead to interference with cordless phones on the same frequency. If one wants to use a cordless telephone on the same premises, one should ensure that the cordless set uses a different frequency, such as 900Mhz or 5.8 Ghz. However, any wireless router has the ability to operate in different channels. Using channel 11 is most often the best situation for a wireless access point.
There are two possible types of operation:
Peer-to-peer or ad-hoc mode This mode is a method for wireless devices to directly communicate with each other. Operating in ad-hoc mode allows wireless devices within range of each other to discover and communicate in peer-to-peer fashion without involving central access points. This is typically used by two PCs to connect to one another, so that one can share the other's Internet connection for example, as well as for wireless mesh networks. Infrastructure mode This mode of wireless networking bridges a wireless network to a wired Ethernet network. Infrastructure mode wireless also supports central connection points for WLAN clients. A wireless access point is required for infrastructure mode wireless networking, which serves as the central WLAN communication station. This is typically used by a stand-alone base-station (such as a Broadband/ADSL connection box).

The Guess Who is a Canadian rock music band from Winnipeg, Manitoba that was one of the first to establish a major successful following in their own country as well as abroad in the late 1960s and early 1970s. They were the first Canadian rock group to have a No.1 hit on the American Music Charts.The band was originally known as "Chad Allan & The Expressions" before their record label tried a stunt of hiding the name of the band with the words "Guess Who?" The reception proved so positive that the name stuck. As the group lineup changed, so did their sound. 1969's "These Eyes" was the group's first Top Ten hit under new group leader Burton Cummings. By the beginning of the 1970s, the group moved towards an edgier hard-rock sound with the album "American Woman", which featured among its tracks the title song (the only Number One hit the group had in the U.S.), "When Friends Fall Out" (a short ditty that was sort of a cross between Strawberry Alarm Clock, Jefferson Airplane and the Lennon Sisters), and the Top Ten hit "No Time".
Group differences led Randy Bachman to leave the group, return to Winnipeg, and form Brave Belt, which eventually evolved into the hit group Bachman Turner Overdrive. The Guess Who continued with more hit singles such as "Share The Land" and "Clap For The Wolfman" (an homage to disc jockey Wolfman Jack, who incidentally, lent his own voice to the recording).
The Guess Who broke up in 1975, but a new incarnation has since been formed and continues to tour in the tradition of the group and sound Cummings made famous.
In 2001, a year after the Guess Who went on a cross-Canada national tour, the band received honourary doctorates at Brandon University in Brandon, Manitoba. For lead vocalist Cummings, it was a privilege to receive the doctorate, since he did not graduate from high school

Good design resembles nature.

It's not so much that resembling nature is intrinsically good as that nature has had a long time to work on the problem. It's a good sign when your answer resembles nature's.It's not cheating to copy. Few would deny that a story should be like life. Working from life is a valuable tool in painting too, though its role has often been misunderstood. The aim is not simply to make a record. The point of painting from life is that it gives your mind something to chew on: when your eyes are looking at something, your hand will do more interesting work.
Imitating nature also works in engineering. Boats have long had spines and ribs like an animal's ribcage. In some cases we may have to wait for better technology: early aircraft designers were mistaken to design aircraft that looked like birds, because they didn't have materials or power sources light enough (the Wrights' engine weighed 152 lbs. and generated only 12 hp.) or control systems sophisticated enough for machines that flew like birds, but I could imagine little unmanned reconnaissance planes flying like birds in fifty years.
Now that we have enough computer power, we can imitate nature's method as well as its results. Genetic algorithms may let us create things too complex to design in the ordinary sense.
